ACSA Naval Hardware

ACSA is a modern foundry located at the foot of the Andes, in Luján de Cuyo, 25 miles south of Mendoza, capital city of the Province of Mendoza, in Argentina.

Since 1981, ACSA produces high-quality castings. It provides a wide line of supplies, such as anchors and hardware for anchor chains: chain-connecting links for detachable chains (C-, D-, Pear- and Kenter-type), anchor links or shackles, swivels, rings, quick-release and pelican hooks, towing sockets, etc. All these items are made of extra high-strength cast steel, Grade 3 quality. The company also produces steel castings up to 15 tons each, for hulls and buoys.

ACSA is equally well equipped to manufacture anchors of all kinds and design, up to 44,000 lbs. The company has been approved by international testing agencies as a manufacturer of high holding power anchors.

ACSA guarantees the quality of all its products. The factory has the labs and equipment required for carrying out the break load tests, including a tensile test machine with a capacity of up to 1,500 tons. It has also the appropiate equipment for all the non-destructive tests, such as spectrometry, gammagraphy, X-ray, magnetic particles, penetrating inks, ultrasonic tests, etc.
