The Brazilian Association of Production of the Tilapia, AB - came up with the objectives of increasing the consumption of tilapia in the market, to strengthen the sector, to exchange experiences with similar entities and to be represented by the Government, to seek the necessary mechanisms for the expansion of related activities.
It was founded on October 25, 2003, in Londrina, Paraná, in the first national business industries tilapia processors.
