Nova Sea AS is the largest North Norwegian producer of farmed salmon with 29.33 and 6 wholly-owned salmon licenses. We have farms along the coast of Helgeland - surrounded by cold, fresh water and wild and beautiful scenery. In other words, here it is ideal for the production of salmon!
Nova Sea has approx. 170 employees and annual turnover of approximately 900 million. This makes the company one of the largest on the Helgeland coast. Our manufacturing facilities are located in 11 municipalities along the Helgeland coast.
Management and industrial plants are located in the island Lovund Lurøy. Here are slaughtered and packed all the salmon before it is sent to the market at home and abroad.
Lovund company Vignes Olaisen AS is the largest shareholder with approx. 51% of the shares, Marine Harvest, ca. 42%, while 3% is owned by the employees.Mowi has an ownership in Nova Sea of ~48% through direct and indirect shareholdings.
