The Xunta is defined by the Statute of Autonomy, approved in 1981, as a body of the Government of Galicia. Currently, the regional government is composed of the President and ten o'clock Conselleiros. The community exercises its administrative functions through the regional government, its agencies and affiliated bodies.
Xunta corresponds to approve the general regulations of their own taxes and developing regulations needed to manage their state tax agency in accordance with the terms of this transfer and the development and implementation of the budget of the Autonomous Community of Galicia, to be considered by Parliament.
