Pure Salmon is one of the fastest growing Atlantic salmon companies globally. We are on course to build and operate multiple 10,000 tons p.a. and 20,000 tons p.a. vertically integrated aquaculture production and processing facilities using land-based Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) technology. We are about to announce the location of our first 10,000 tons p.a. facility in Japan, which will be the largest Atlantic salmon RAS facility in Asia and one of the largest globally. In Japan, Pure Salmon will operate under the name “Soul of Japan”.

Pure Salmon signs distribution deal with Japanese corporate giant Itochu

The new facility is due to be finished in 2021, but such is the demand for clean, high-quality, sustainable salmon in the region, the Japanese trading giant Itochu has already agreed to distribute the locally produced fish under the brand name ‘Soul of Japan’.

Less than a year after the launch of Soul of Japan K.K. (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo), and a full two years before the Tsu City facility goes into production, this is a major vote of confidence in Pure Salmon’s business vision, from one of Asia’s most prestigious trading corporations.
