Alphatron Marine BV of Rotterdam was founded in 1989 and currently employs about 135 people. The company is privately owned and has a flexible approach to both manufacturers and customers. A fully autocad supported engineering team takes care of all new building projects and the day-to-day installation work in the field of navigation and communication equipment. In the past years Alphatron Marine has fitted over 415 seagoing new building vessels.
Besides the representation of major manufacturers like JRC, Sailor and Yokogawa, Alphatron also produces a full range complementary products like Gyrocompasses, Autopilots, Marine instruments as well as Marine PABX and PA systems all marked under the product name Alphaline. For river navigation, a full product line of rate of turn autopilots, rate of turn indicators, shallow water echosounders, river radars, etcetera is offered. For Deepsea applications the product range includes the unique modular Alphabridge console concept and for special applications the versatile Alphapos IVCS DP system is available.
