Price

The average CIF price of fillets –basa and panga- imported in September was USD 4,668/t, down 1% on that of August and up 36% on that of September 2017. In the first nine months, the average was USD 4,345/t, up 31% on that of the same period last year.

Market

In September, incoming volumes of frozen fillets of basa and panga reported 11,189 tonnes, worth CIF USD 52,233,000, up 11% in volume and 9% in value on those imported in the previous month and up 189% in volume and 293% in value on those of September 2017.

In the first nine months of the year, they totalled 66,834 tonnes, worth USD 290,391,000, down 21% in volume and up 3% in value on those of the same period last year.
