Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch Food Truck Serves Up Ocean-Friendly Seafood

The Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch Food Truck rolls into San Francisco Bay area events July through September 2019 to raise awareness about ocean-friendly seafood and choices people can make. Hungry event-goers can satisfy their appetites with a Seafood Watch Best Choice fish or vegan bite while also finding out how to shop with the ocean in mind. The Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch Food Truck menu, created with San Francisco favorite Little Green Cyclo, features three items made with either U.S. West Coast rockfish or vegan ingredients:
Menu items: Taco, Butter Lettuce Wrap or Bánh Mì Sandwich
Fish preparation options: Chili Lime, Tamarind or Cajun-style
Vegan option: Butternut Squash with Kale and Candied Walnuts
Monterey Bay Aquarium brings its Seafood Watch Food Truck to the Bay Area this summer to help people better understand the importance of buying Best Choice, green-rated seafood. Along with tasty eats, the Food Truck offers information demonstrating how Seafood Watch resources combined with individual voices can protect the ocean.
