The Salmon ShowHow Gears Up for Smarter Processing

  (DENMARK, 10/19/2018)

Marel will demonstrate the latest and best in salmon processing technology at its 18th annual Salmon ShowHow, taking place at Progress Point in Copenhagen, Denmark, 6 February 2019.

Each year, hundreds of salmon processors from around the world come together to experience key technological advances in their industry and to discuss the latest salmon processing innovations and industry trends at the Salmon ShowHow.

Live Demonstrations

Demonstrations throughout the day give attendees a close look at Marel’s industry-leading equipment in a simulated processing plant environment, with specialists at hand to explain how the products can help them raise quality, productivity, yield, and throughput.

Salmon processors from around the world come together at the Salmon ShowHow each year to discuss the latest processing innovations and industry trends, and to experience some of the key technological advances for themselves.

Marel will demonstrate both its industry-leading equipment and its food processing software at the event. As salmon processors move into industry 4.0, they are increasingly demanding not only quality equipment across the whole processing value chain, but also integrated software that enables them to take full advantage of automation, robotics, and real-time data monitoring to improve productivity and production control.

Virtual Demonstrations

Following the popularity of the new 360° demo experience at the 2018 event, attendees at the 2019 ShowHow will again be invited to use 3D glasses to step inside modern salmon processing facilities for a unique insight into quality salmon production.

The event will offer a new immersive demo experience, inviting attendees to put on a pair of 3D glasses and walk through a modern processing facility for a unique 360° tour of quality salmon production.

Guests Speakers & Seminars

The Salmon ShowHow gives attendees the opportunity to hear what guest speakers have to say about current technologies and trends. The program also includes seminars on a range of topics designed to address key concerns of CEOs, production managers, IT managers, and other decisions makers in the salmon processing industry.

The program invites salmon processors to engage all their senses in a full exploration of salmon processing equipment and software.
