Briosa Conservas de Pescado is one of the companies belonging to Conserveira Group and the Faustino Family, also the owners of the centennial Conservas Portugal Norte - CPN, in Matosinhos.

Since its inception, Briosa - Conservas de Pescado has always adopted the highest of quality standards, while promoting the ideal union between modern new technologies with the experience of its founders in the production of traditional Portuguese canned fish.​

Briosa is a producer of traditional Portuguese canned fish which please the most demanding palates around the world.

​Quality assurance and numerous certifications have praised the company as a relevant supplier for large networks in demanding markets, such as the United Kingdom, United States, France, among others. Briosa products comply with the IFS standards, meeting the requirements of the international food safety management system. Briosa is also MSC certified, which guarantees the sustainability and preservation of the company's production and the Organic production Bio Certified, in addition to the wild fish, use organic ingredients such as olive oil, seaweed and various certified herbs and condiments.

Besides its own brands, Briosa Conservas de Pescado is also dedicated to the production of private labels for specific clients.

Briosa's experience in the production of, mainly exported, canned fish led the company to the launch its own brands in the gourmet segment, receiving great acceptance by even the most demanding Portuguese public.

Briosa Gourmet line, is a brand found only in speciality stores home and abroad, you can taste Sardines, Mackerel, Tuna, Cod, Horse Mackerels, Anchovies, Picas with the most savoury sauces and ingredients.  The Portuguese identity of the company's roots is reflected upon it's colorful tiles on the packaging. Tradition allied to boldness, promotes a fusion of flavours with different ingredients, assorted fish, sauces and condiments.

Briosa finds the perfect combination of experience in the production of traditional Portuguese preserves and effective technologies.

​The Dama Bio Brand is a former brand of the Conserveira Group, which has been redesigned to meet the growing demand for more sophisticated products. The freshest fish combined with the purest olive oil and organic ingredients, such as algae and various aromatic herbs, provoke an explosion of pleasure with each tasting.

Briosa Conservas was built in 1991, in Figueira da Foz, the city chosen to receive the modern project idealized by Dr. Eng. António Faustino, due to the proximity to the fishing port and the facility for receiving raw materials.
