We are now open for applications for the Nor-Fishing Foundation 2018
Innovation Award for the fisheries sector. The winner will receive NOK 100 000,
and will be presented at the opening of Nor-Fishing 2018 on 21 August 2018.

Who can apply?
Both commercial companies and individuals from Norway and other countries
are invited to apply. We only require that the applicant operates in or is a
supplier to the fisheries industry.

The Award will be given to the best innovative product or service of benefit to
the industry.

The Nor-Fishing Foundation wishes to stimulate R&D activities in companies
and among individuals. Consequently, research institutions are not considered
eligible to apply for the Award.

Qualifications necessary

It is a prerequisite that the R&D activity behind the application is related to
commercial companies or individuals in the industry. The applicant must be the
owner of the project, although it can be implemented in cooperation with
research institutions.

Important for previous winners

Feedback from previous winners show that the Nor-Fishing Innovation Award
has been an important input and inspiration for innovation and motivation, not
least in the marketing of the product or service to important fisheries nations.

Application deadline

The application deadline is 1 May 2018, but we do encourage earlier
submissions.

The application must include:

Name/company name of the applicant, mail address, e-mail address, web
address, telephone number and contact person.

A brief description of the activities of the applicant (person or company)

Description and best possible documentation of the project, product, process or
service. Special emphasis should be on the innovative aspects.

Documentation of expected results/effect, and market for the proposed product,
project or service.
