Nueva Pescanova appoints new CEO for its US subsidiary

Grupo Nueva Pescanova has appointed Chris Maze as CEO of its subsidiary in the United States, Pescanova USA, a designation that will be effective as of January 1, 2019.
The company informed the new CEO will work on strengthening the commercialization of the products under Pescanova brand in the retail and food service channels in the United States, where Pescanova has been present for more than 20 years and is one of the six key markets of the company.

Maze has a degree in Accounting from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Stanford University, and has over 18-year experience in food companies, where he has held positions of maximum responsibility and has led national and international M&A projects.

In 2000, he began his career with Campofrío food group as vice president of the company in America, becoming operations director in 2008 and reaching the position of president and CEO in 2013. Last year, Chris Maze became president and CEO in the East Coast Seafood Group, one of the largest lobster and scallop producers in the world, a position he has held to this day.
Chris Maze replaces the current CEO of the subsidiary of Nueva Pescanova in the US, Richard Grant, who will become International Sales Director - Rest of the World in Nueva Pescanova Group’s office in Madrid.
