According to the sectoral monitoring system, the total volume of extraction (capture) of aquatic biological resources by all Russian users as of January 11, 2021 amounted to 107.60 thousand tons, which is 8.79 thousand tons or 7 , 5% less than the 2020 level.
In the Far East fishing basin, the total volume of extraction of aquatic biological resources amounted to 83.96 thousand tons (10.51 thousand tons or 11.1% less than in 2020). In the pollock fishery, the catch amounted to 55.74 thousand tons (-15.8 thousand tons), in the cod fishery - 5.1 thousand tons (+1.48 thousand tons), in the herring fishery - 16.87 thousand tons. tons (+3.47 thousand tons).
In the northern fishing basin, the total volume of production amounted to 10.41 thousand tons (-0.48 thousand tons or -4.39%). In the cod fishery, the catch was 7.71 thousand tons (-0.15 thousand tons), haddock - 2.26 thousand tons (+0.08 thousand tons).
The total volume of production in the western fishing basin amounted to 4.9 thousand tons (+3.66 thousand tons or + 296.84%). In the sprat fishery, the catch amounted to 3.81 thousand tons (+3.3 thousand tons), Baltic herring - 1.09 thousand tons (+0.38 thousand tons).
In the Azov-Black Sea fishing basin, total production amounted to 1.84 thousand tons (-1.11 thousand tons or -37.65%). In the anchovy fishery, the catch was 1.78 thousand tons (-1.08 thousand tons).
In the Volga-Caspian fishing basin, the total production volume was 1.52 thousand tons (+1.15 thousand tons or + 313.32%). The sprat catch amounted to 1.52 thousand tons (+1.15 thousand tons).
The total volume of production in the areas of foreign states amounted to 4.7 thousand tons (-1.6 thousand tons), in conventional areas and the open part of the World Ocean - 0.2 thousand tons (+0.1 thousand tons).
