Salmon price status at week 45

The volumes of fresh Norwegian salmon exported in week 45 were down 667 tonnes (-3.5 per cent) from last week, and down 485 tonnes (-2.5 per cent) from the corresponding week last year, reports Fish Pool ASA.
The Fish Pool Index reports that in the last four weeks the prices of the salmon market (for fresh salmon between 3 kg and 6 kg, FCA Oslo) and the export volumes were as follows:

The term prices reflect the expectations of Fish Pool members for the next 24 months. The prices are evaluated by the contracts that have been entered into, and by the interest to buy or sell in Fish Pool, and are only indicative.

The sales for December 2018 were traded several times at NOK 65.00. The buyer price is now at NOK 64 versus a seller price a NOK 66.
The contracts for the year 2019 were traded at NOK 63.85. The buyer price is now at NOK 62.20 versus a seller price at NOK 64.25.
For the sales for the quarters Q3+Q4 2019, the buyer price is NOK 60 versus a seller price at NOK 63. The buyer price for Q4 2019 is at NOK 61.00.
