From November 16 to 22, the price dynamics of frozen fish in the wholesale segment of the domestic market continued to be multidirectional.
In the Far East region, prices for pollock (93 rubles / kg, + 6.9%) and herring (55 rubles / kg, + 1.9%) continued to grow, due to the favorable situation on the world market , as well as pink salmon (220 rubles kg, + 4.7%) due to increased competition between domestic and external demand. Prices for other types of frozen fish, in general, remained stable: cod - 120 rubles / kg, flounder - 60 rubles / kg.
In the Northwest, the increased supply from the fishery ensured a decline in prices for haddock (143 rubles / kg, -1.4%) and mackerel (138 rubles / kg, -1.4%), while the intensification of purchases from processors and traders contribute to the increase in herring prices (77 rubles / kg, + 2.7%).
In the Central Regions, prices for pollock (102 rubles / kg, + 3%) and capelin (125 rubles / kg, + 1.6%) increased, which was mainly due to an increase in the sale prices of fishing companies. The prices of other popular types of frozen fish remained practically unchanged due to the continuing uncertainty in the movement of consumer demand during the period of quarantine restrictions: mackerel - 150 rubles / kg, herring - 75 rubles / kg.
Retail prices are going up. In the period from 10 to 16 November, the average level of consumer prices for frozen uncut fish increased by 0.4%. Compared to the beginning of the year, prices increased by 3.4%.
