The deadlines for the unloading operation of refrigerated transports with fish in the ports of the People's Republic of China increased in the context of the strengthening of quarantine measures in the country
The processing time for refrigerated fish shipments arriving from Russia to ports in the People's Republic of China has increased amid increasing quarantine measures in the country.
At the moment, the procedure takes about 15 days, although previously it did not take more than a week.
The manager of the Dobroflot Group of Companies, Alexander Efremov, reports that the company now takes up to three weeks to unload a refrigerator with a capacity of five thousand tons delivered to the People's Republic of China, that is, up to a third of the total travel time, so the cost of transportation has already increased between 10-15%.
Due to the difficult situation in the world, the People's Republic of China is applying strict quarantine measures to ships arriving from abroad. All transshipments go through Dalian port, Qingdao port is now completely closed.
According to statistics, as of November 22, the Russian Federation's fish exports decreased 4% year-on-year, to $ 4.6 billion. 70% of the amount corresponds to China and South Korea.
