Russia's catches are approaching 4.6 million tonnes

According to the data of the industry monitoring system of the Federal Agency for Fisheries (Federal Fisheries Monitoring System), the catch of aquatic bioresources by all Russian users amounted to approximately 4.6 million tons (4,582 thousand tons).

Far Eastern basin: 3495.7 thousand tons

of Pollock - 1848 thousand tons (+14.5 thousand tons to the level of 2023); cod – 100.9 thousand tons; Pacific herring – 390 thousand tons (+38.6 thousand tons compared to 2023); Far Eastern flounder – 58.8 thousand tons; Iwasi sardines (in the EEZ of the Russian Federation) – 533.5 thousand tons (+41.8 thousand tons to the 2023 level)

Northern basin: 416.5 thousand tons

Cod – 210.6 thousand tons; haddock – 58 thousand tons; capelin – 51.7 thousand tons (+ 28.6 thousand tons compared to the 2023 level)

Western basin: 68.2 thousand tons

Sprat – 35.3 thousand tons; Baltic herring – 22.3 thousand tons

Azov-Black Sea basin: 30.9 thousand tons

of anchovy - 11.1 thousand tons (+1.8 thousand tons to the level of 2023)

Volga-Caspian basin: 69.4 thousand tons

Sprat – 22.1 thousand tons; ordinary fish species – 17.9 thousand tons

In the exclusive economic zones of foreign states, conventional areas and the open part of the World Ocean, the Russian fleet has extracted more than 459.5 thousand tons of aquatic bioresources.

As of November 30, there were 26 vessels approaching the seaports of Primorsky Krai with 15,665 thousand tons of fish products on board. Of these, 2 vessels were carrying salmon (2,823 thousand tons). Fresh-frozen catches of pollock (3,256 thousand tons), herring (0,714 thousand tons) and cod (0,172 thousand tons).

Products from fresh catches are supplied to the domestic market on a priority basis.
