The fishing agreement between the European Union and Morocco appeared on Friday published in the Official Gazette of Morocco, thus completing the last stage before its entry into force.
The long hundred of European fleet - 92 of them Spanish - will be able to go out to fish before the end of the month after a break of almost a year, when the previous agreement expired.
Only the "royal seal" is lacking to consider that the agreement legally comes into force, but Moroccan sources told Efe that "it is a matter of days or even hours."
In fact, the bilateral mixed commission, of a purely technical nature, has already been convened in Rabat for the next 17, 18 and 19 July, in order to fix some very precise details of the boats and their distribution in the fishing areas. .
As it has happened on previous occasions, it will be the following week, which begins on July 22, when the first licenses that will allow some fishing boats to start fishing will begin to be issued.
