As of October 18, users of the Far Eastern constituent entities of the Russian Federation harvested (caught) 296,402 tons of Pacific salmon, or 44% of the level of 2018, an increase in the production level for the week amounted to 1.5 thousand tons.
Commercial fishing for Pacific salmon in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, Magadan Oblast, Kamchatka and Khabarovsk Territories has generally been completed.
The catch of Pacific salmon continues in the Sakhalin Oblast and Primorsky Krai. To date, users of the Sakhalin Region have produced more than 63.6 thousand tons (-59.4 thousand tons or -48% to the level of 2018).
Users of the Primorsky Territory demonstrate positive dynamics in production volumes - more than 1.1 thousand tons of Pacific salmon were harvested here, which is 7% more than in 2018 (+74 tons).
