99% of frozen pollock imports come from Russia.

In February 2021, imports of frozen pollock amounted to 8,211 tonnes, 43% less than the 14,416 tonnes the previous year.
In February, accumulated imports amounted to 23,010 tons, 3% less than the 23,713 tons of the previous year.
The average import from February 2016 to 2021 was 11,905 tons, 31% less than the 8,211 tons in 2021.
In February this year, Russia, the United States and Canada were the main exporters of frozen pollock to the Korean market.
22,793 tons were imported from Russia, 153 tons from the United States and 64 tons from Canada.
The country's average import price was USD 1.34 / kg, the highest for product originating from the United States, USD 1.11 / kg for Russian pollock and USD 1.06 / kg for Canadian pollock. with the lowest value.
In February 2021, frozen pollock imports amounted to USD 8.89 million, 52% less than the USD 18.55 million the previous year.
The average unit price of imports in February was USD 1.08 / kg, 16% less than the USD 1.29 / kg the previous year.
