The Chilean company will highlight its ASC-certified, high-quality Pacific salmon, Silverside, with a strong focus on expanding its presence in the European market through innovation and environmental responsibility.

Barcelona, SpainVentisqueros, a part of the German Schörghuber Group, is set to showcase its premium and sustainable Silverside Pacific salmon at the Seafood Expo Global 2025, held at the Gran Vía venue of Fira de Barcelona from May 6th to 8th. Exhibiting at stand 1E703, Ventisqueros will join industry leaders at the world's most significant seafood fair, which will host exhibitors from 79 countries, solidifying its position as a crucial platform for the fishing and aquaculture sector.

A responsible beginning ensures premium salmon—from hatch to harvest.

In this edition, Ventisqueros will place a significant emphasis on strengthening its foothold in the European market. The company's proposal centers on high-quality products that seamlessly blend innovation with a deep respect for the environment.

Javier Calvo, COO of Ventisqueros, underscored the strategic importance of participating in Seafood Expo Global: “This fair is a key showcase to demonstrate the value of our offering to the world. Ventisqueros Pacific salmon provides a distinct experience, characterized by its sustainable attributes and superior quality, aligning perfectly with the demands of today's international consumers.” This participation forms a vital part of Ventisqueros' internationalization strategy, which aims to solidify its presence in key markets, particularly in Europe, where the demand for sustainable and responsibly sourced seafood is steadily growing.

Ventisqueros stands as a pioneer in the Chilean salmon farming industry, being the first to achieve 100% ASC certification for its harvested biomass. The company has consistently strengthened its commitment to socio-environmental responsibility through practices that ensure complete traceability and transparency across all its production processes.

100% ASC-certified production: This milestone reaffirms Ventisqueros’ commitment to excellence, sustainability, and social responsibility, while contributing to a more sustainable future for global aquaculture.

A flagship product at Ventisqueros' showcase will be Silverside salmon, a distinct variety of Pacific salmon nurtured on a specially formulated diet designed to optimize its nutritional profile while minimizing its environmental impact. This ASC-certified salmon, bearing the "Cosecha Viva" (Living Harvest) seal, has garnered significant acclaim in various international markets for its exceptional flavor, texture, and overall superior quality.

The Ventisqueros team, led by CEO José Luis Vial and COO Javier Calvo, will be accompanied by other key company executives. Throughout the fair, they will engage in strategic meetings with business partners and influential industry players, with the dual aim of fortifying existing relationships and exploring new avenues for growth, further consolidating Ventisqueros' global presence.

Reiterating the company's core values, Javier Calvo emphasized the pivotal role of sustainability in Ventisqueros' value proposition: “Increasingly, global markets are recognizing and valuing products with robust sustainable attributes and high quality standards. Our Silverside Pacific salmon offers a premium alternative that directly addresses these demands, reinforcing the fundamental principles that have guided Ventisqueros since its inception.”

Ventisqueros' participation in Seafood Expo Global 2025 underscores its strategy of responsible growth, solidifying its position as a benchmark within the Chilean salmon industry. The company's vision for the future is firmly rooted in sustainability and the creation of shared value for its customers, communities, and the environment
