On May 15, 2020, the Pella Leningrad Shipbuilding Plant and the Antey Far East company signed the acceptance and transfer certificate of the lead vessel for the crab production of project 03070 Rus («Русь»).
The crab vessel "Rus" is the first vessel built in the framework of the state program of investment quotas for the extraction of crab. Technical characteristics of the crab catcher fully comply with the requirements of the current regulatory documents of the program.
The laying of the ship “Rus”(«Русь») took place on March 2, 2018, launching on December 26, 2018. Factory sea trials, the results of which confirmed the basic design characteristics of the vessel, were completed on May 7, 2020.
As part of the continuation of the 03070 series of projects, the Pella plant is constructing two crab-boats by order of Ostrovnoy-Krab LLC. Like Rus, these vessels are built under the program of investment quotas for the extraction of crab.
Project 03070 crab fishing vessel is intended for specialized bottom fishing of crab (Kamchatka, Opilio, blue, etc.) with "Japanese" type cone traps. To transport the crab, trellised baskets are used, which are placed in thermally insulated tanks with chilled and prepared sea water (RSW tanks).
