The governor of the Primorsky Territory Oleg Kozhemyako on Friday, May 29, visited the site of the Russian Pollock fishing factory, which is being built by a resident of the Nadezhdinskaya. The launch of the plant is scheduled for September 1.
Oleg Kozhemyako appreciated the high availability of the facility, noting positively the measures taken by Russian Fishery Company LLC to maintain the pace of construction in the face of a general decline in economic activity due to the coronavirus epidemic.

“For residents of the Nadezhda district and the nearest settlements, this is an opportunity to get a decent job. The project provides for deep processing, is being implemented under investment quotas - the company will receive almost 12 thousand tons of pollock. Work is being carried out on schedule, high-tech equipment will be installed by the Fisherman's Day, ”said the Governor.
At the construction site, where about 120 people are currently involved, all necessary measures are being taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
“Construction is in its final stages. Already in June, installation of equipment will begin. Commissioning is scheduled for July. In September, we plan to start production, ”said Mikhail Degtyarenko, Director General of Russian Pollock LLC.

The equipment from leading world manufacturers, which will be installed at the plant, will allow producing up to 155 tons of finished products per day, mainly - block and piece frozen pollock fillets, as well as minced briquettes, steaks. At least 20 tons of fish oil and flour per day will be produced from the main production waste.
With the commissioning of the plant in the current year, 130-150 jobs will be created, and with the launch of the enterprise in two-shift work, about 350. It is expected that over the first 10 years of work, the enterprise will receive over 7 billion rubles in budgets of all levels and extra-budgetary funds .
