The Russian Fisheries Company (RRPC) took part in the “Maritime Congress - Far East”, which brought together more than 1,200 delegates from different countries in Vladivostok. One of the world leaders in pollock production presented at the event his vision for the further development of the marine industry in the new economic conditions.

“The Far East is truly the flagship of Russia’s maritime industry, but the fishing industry in particular also has something to brag about. Over two years, the Russian Fishery Company has increased the supply of high-value products to the Russian market by 10 times. We continue to constantly improve quality and develop new consumer products. RRPK is proud of the way it conducts its business. We ensure completely waste-free production, use ships with desalination plants, and implement environmental projects, including Clean Coast. We invest in the education of fishermen, promote the consumption of environmentally friendly, natural domestic products and develop the tourist attractiveness of Primorye by holding the pollock festival “Oh! Mega Taste. Our company makes an important contribution to the prosperity of the region", emphasized Saveliy Karpukhin, who headed the RRPK from June 1.

The main value of the company is people, noted Andrey Richter, Deputy Director for Human Resources Management at RRPK, during the panel discussion “Career Guidance for Youth in the Maritime Industry: What Universities Teach, What Enterprises Offer.” On the new ships, safe automated workplaces of a new standard have been created for the company’s employees - with a fundamentally different level of comfort. The company also offers employees high wages and corporate bonuses.

As part of the discussion session “Ship repair, equipment, components in the Primorsky Territory,” technical director of RRPK Konstantin Globenko spoke about the creation of his own service center in Vladivostok, which will help shape the market for service production and repair in the Russian Federation, giving local contractors the opportunity to develop competencies. RRPK also spoke about new experiences of cooperation with the countries of Southeast Asia in the field of high-tech ship equipment. Thanks to the willingness of the participants to engage in dialogue, significant successes are achieved.

On May 30 and 31, the Russian Pollock plant received guests - a delegation from the industry event "Maritime Congress - Far East". They got acquainted with the production and saw how the largest fish processing enterprise in the Primorsky Territory works.

Guests were able to see the progress of vessel construction and fishing at the Primorsky Territory stand, where the RRPK was also presented.
