10 medium seiner trawlers will fish in the waters of the Azov and Black seas. They will be able to fish for seafood with midwater trawls, purse seine, carry out primary processing of the catch, and also store and transport the catch either in a refrigerator hold in containers or in bulk in a chilled form.
The Crimean government explained that this order will be completed by 2025, it will provide the plant with work and "take the first step towards the revival of the fishing and fish processing industry of the peninsula."

The new trawlers will be registered in the Russian International Register. This will allow the customer, Black Sea Fishing Company LLC, to take advantage of government support measures in accordance with the rules for granting subsidies from the federal budget to Russian organizations to reimburse part of the costs of building fishing vessels.
Earlier in July, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that Crimea would subsidize 30% of the cost of certain types of vessels to those who would order them from Crimean shipyards. In this regard, the Head of the Republic, Sergei Aksyonov, noted that the revival of shipbuilding in the Crimea is going on "at a crazy pace." According to him, large companies are already showing interest in building ships and ships at Crimean factories on preferential terms.
