Geo Salmo intends to be a leader in developing the land-based salmon farming industry to future success and benefit of the world. Our project is building a 20.000 tonne hybrid flow-through land-based farm in South-Iceland with on-site smolt and processing, allowing for roe to finished product within the same facility.
The farm will be located in Þorlákshöfn, one of the largest fresh fish export harbors in Iceland. This secures optimal logistics to our main markets, reducing domestic transport costs and emissions.
