This report covers the activity of salmon in Norway, focusing on aspects such as harvests, prices, markets and exports and imports. 1. EUROPE 1.1 Norway Salmon (Salmo salar) Prices During week 49, the average price of fresh salmon (Salmo salar) was NOK 63.72 (EUR 6.31/kg). This figure is up 1% on that of the previous week and up 7% on that of the same week in 2018. Compared with the same week in 2017, it was up 19% in value according to Norwegian Statistics.
