ANFACO-CECOPESCA, and GH ELETROTERMIA HERMASA have started last August 1, 2012 the activities under the European project "LIFE + 2011 INDUFOOD: Reducing GHG Emissions in the food industry through alternative thermal systems based on induction technology".
This is a cooperation project between companies whose main goal is to reduce emissions of greenhouse gases in the food industry. To achieve this objective, we will study the current thermal systems and raise alternative solutions based on induction technology.
ANFACO-CECOPESCA as project leader, expects to make available to the food businesses, alternative thermal systems more environmentally friendly, which are expected to contribute to achieving the objectives of the Kyoto Protocol and the 20-20-20 Plan European Union.
