As Chief Steward of S&A, Steve guides the company according to its five core values. He received his B.A. in Political Science from UC Berkeley in 1975. After completing selected graduate business work at both UCLA and USC, Steve began a career in the food industry. Over the past three decades, he has divided his time between sales and marketing roles for various manufacturers and advertising/marketing communications agencies. He has firsthand working knowledge of production, sales, distribution systems, and channel strategies. Strategic analysis and planning, as well as strategy engineering and implementation, are his chief passions. Steve and his wife of 25+ years, Nancy, have 3 children and are both native Californians. Steve loves any form of athletic competition, the High Sierras, native plant gardening and garden design, US History, plein air art, early 20th century architecture as well as any analogy that happens to float by.
