Prices
Spain
On Mercabarna, during October, there was a rise in fresh crawl hake, fresh import angler, national and import angler, fresh megrim and fresh cod fillets, due to a lower demand. Those of fresh sea trout, fresh import longline hake and fresh sole also declined because of higher supplies. Those of fresh wild seabream, fresh nacional longline hake and fresh conger increased, due to a higher demand.
On the wholesale market of Mercamadrid, prices of frozen species remained stable. Regarding fresh species, the most important drops were registered in seabream, sea trout, megrim and cod. The most important rises were those in hake, pollock, conger and grouper.
