Prices and markets
China
At the beginning of week 47, inventories registered 188,000 tonnes. Volumes leaving the warehouses amounted to almost 23,000 tonnes during the preious week.

Peru
The new quota for the north was established at 2,786,000 t, volume greater than expected and the largest in years. Fishing began auspiciously, averaging about 40,000 tonnes per day. The situation indicates that there will be pressure from buyers for lower prices for the approximately 630,000 tonnes that would be produced, of which between 250,000 and 300,000 could have already been negotiated.

Other origins
Chilean 67% fishmeal is at USD 1,515 and that produced in Iceland, 70%, at USD 1,730, both FOB Germany.

Fish oil
Peru
Raw fish oil is at USD 1,850/t.
With the new quota of northern Peru, the production of just over 80,000 tons of oil is expected.
