On Mercabarna, supplies have increased in the case of croaker, seabream, seabass and turbot. However, on this market, the rise in seabream was more important than that in seabass.
Prices
Spain
On Mercabarna, prices of May increased in all species, except for that of turbot that registered a drop. These increases were a consequence of the higher demand. The drop in turbot was a consequence of a rise in supplies.
On Mercamadrid, average prices increased in all species and products in May, except for that of large seabream that dropped by EUR 0.49/kg. These increases were due to a higher demand.
