Prices
Spain
On Mercabarna, in December, the most important increases in prices were registered in fresh wild seabream, fresh angler, fresh kingclip, fresh wild seabream, fresh megrim, fresh turbot, fresh grouper and fresh croaker. These drops were mainly a consequence of the drop in supplies. The most significant drops were those in fresh skate, frozen whole hake, frozen hake fillets and frozen saithe.
On the wholesale market of Mercamadrid, prices of frozen species remained stable. Regarding fresh species, prices have increased in most species, and there were no drops. The most important rises wwere registered in seabream, angler tails, longline hake, hake cheeks, angler and sea trout.
