In November, the average price of imported fresh fillets at Customs was down 2% on that of the previous month and 3% on that of November 2017. The price of frozen products was USD 3,846/kg, was similar on that of October and down 1% on that of November 2017.

Markets
In November, imports of fresh fillets reached 1,679 tonnes and USD 12,645,000, down 8% in volume and 10% in value on those of the previous month; and up 3% in volume and down 2% in value on those of November 2017. In the first eleven months, they totalled 20,026 tonnes and USD 155,949,000, down 11% in volume and 6% in value on those of 2017.

Imports of frozen fillets reached 11,640 tonnes, worth USD 44,772,000 CIF at Customs. These figures are up 27% in volume and in value on those of previous month and up 17% in volume and 16% in value on those of November of previous year. During the period, totalled 104,303 tonnes and USD 411,454,000, down 4% in volume and value on those of the previous year.

During the period, imports of other products (whole, H&G and gutted, HS 0303890040 and HS 0303230000) totalled 37,443 tonnes, worth USD 72,370,000 CIF at Customs.
