Prices
The average price of frozen mackerel (HS 030354000) was JPY 260/kg at Japanese Customs in November, down 1% on that of October and up 27% on that of November 2017. In the first eleven months of the year, the average was JPY 222/kg, up 1% on that of the same period in 2017.

Markets
Japanese imports of mackerel (HS 0303.54.000) reached 3,707 tonnes, worth JPY 964 million CIF at Japanese Customs. These figures are up 112% in volume and 110% in value on those of the previous month and down 67% in volume and 58% in value on those of November 2017.

During the period, they totalled 45,709 tonnes and JPY 10,138 million, up 16% in volume and value on those of the same period in 2017.
