Itoyori Surimi
Price
The average CIF price of itoyori surimi was JPY 337/kg at Japanese Customs in November, down 3% on that of the previous month and similar on that of October 2017. In the first eleven months, the average was JPY 335/kg, up 3% on that of the same period in 2017.

Markets
Japanese imports of itoyori surimi in the month analysed reached 1,863 tonnes, worth about JPY 627 million CIF, up 22% in volume and 19% in value on those of October and down 23% in volume and in value on those of November 2017.

In the first ten months, they totalled 18,162 tonnes and JPY 6,088 million, up 2% in volume and similar value on those of the same period in 2017.

India was the main supplier of itoyori surimi during the period. Sales amounted to 6,441 tonnes worth about JPY 2,355 million CIF. Thailand supplied 6,254 tonnes.
