After months of thinking and rebuilding of our ARENCO SFD-300 we are now happy to say that our machine - with additional rebuilding from XS to XXS - can do fish smaller than 50 fish/kilo

Today we have tested - with good result - yield from 38--45 % following sizes:

20-25 grams - OK 38-40 %
15-20 gram - gave highest yield - up to 44 %???
10-15 grams - 35-38 %

we even filleted one at 7 grams to get a 3 gr fillet out

Only butterfly fillets

Test where made on small defrosted Baltic Herring fished last week and frozen directly after putting one-by-one into plastic bags....

Cap: Up to 200/225 fish (theoretically it is 250 fish/min but NOT even 4 operators can do it

However we placed a frequency unit on the machine which makes it easier to feed the fish into the machine

STILL we cannot say anything about anchovy but with same changes as from X to XXS we see more positive also on this
