Marel is now preparing to host its first Whitefish ShowHow, 26 November 2015. The event will bring together whitefish industry leaders from all over the world to discuss the latest trends and hear guest speakers address some of the key issues the industry faces.
At this unique event, Marel will demonstrate how its equipment and software solutions help optimize raw material utilization, reduce processing times and labor costs, and improve processes throughout the whitefish processing value chain.
“After fourteen successful Salmon ShowHows, the Whitefish ShowHow will be dedicated entirely to the whitefish processing industry,” explains Stella Kristinsdottir, Marketing Manager Fish Industry at Marel. “The event offers visitors the chance to experience our industry leading equipment first hand in a simulated processing plant environment.”
Marel equipment is designed to meet today’s processing challenges in any modern processing plant of wild or farmed whitefish. At the showhow, processors can discover the latest developments in whitefish processing from Marel, with demonstrations of complete systems, as well as informative and inspirational lectures and guest-speaker presentations.
Marel’s Progress Point demonstration and training center features state-of-the-art demonstrations facilities, and is just 5 minutes from Copenhagen Airport. Since opening in October 2013, Progress Point has hosted many events and training sessions for food industry experts, demonstrating the full potential of Marel’s equipment and integrated systems in a hands-on environment.
