As of September 14, Russian fishermen have extracted 3.7 million tons of aquatic biological resources

According to the sectoral monitoring system, the total volume of extraction (catch) of aquatic biological resources by all Russian users as of September 14 amounted to 3,714.93 thousand tons (including in inland water bodies - 51.42 thousand tons), which is 9 , 91 thousand tons or 0.3% more than in 2019.

In the Far Eastern fishery basin, the volume of production amounted to 2 697.43 thousand tons (39.39 thousand tons or 1.48% more than in 2019). In the pollock fishery, the catch amounted to 1,545.02 thousand tons (+68.65 thousand tons), in the cod fishery - 134.84 thousand tons (+14.10 thousand tons), in the herring fishery - 197.83 thousand tons. tons (+24.95 thousand tons).

The volume of production of Pacific salmon amounted to 272.51 thousand tons, which is 354.12 thousand tons or 56.51% less than in 2018, and 182.49 thousand tons or 40.11% less than in 2019.

In the Northern fishery basin, the total volume of production amounted to 373.41 thousand tons, (-15.30 thousand tons or -3.94%). In the cod fishery, the catch amounted to 243.88 thousand tons (-18.15 thousand tons), haddock - 60.08 thousand tons (+5.29 thousand tons).

The volume of production in the Western fishery basin amounted to 60.38 thousand tons (+0.97 thousand tons or + 1.64%). In the sprat fishery, the catch amounted to 37.51 thousand tons (+ 2.65 thousand tons), Baltic herring - 17.18 thousand tons (-0.95 thousand tons).

In the Azov-Black Sea fishery basin, the volume of production amounted to 47.93 thousand tons (-2.36 thousand tons or -4.7%). In the anchovy fishery, the catch amounted to 19.42 thousand tons (+1.74 thousand tons), in the sprat fishery - 18.40 thousand tons, (+0.63 thousand tons), in the tulka fishery - 2.11 thousand tons (-1.04 thousand tons).

In the Volga-Caspian fishery basin, the volume of production amounted to 42.07 thousand tons (+ 2.82 thousand tons, or + 7.18%). The volume of sprat catch is 5.44 thousand tons (+4.93 thousand tons), of partial fish species - 14.95 thousand tons (+1.9 thousand tons). The volume of extraction of freshwater species of aquatic biological resources - 16.05 thousand tons (-0.3 thousand tons).

The total volume of production in the zones of foreign states amounted to 245.6 thousand tons (-3.2 thousand tons), in conventional areas and the open part of the World Ocean - 225.7 thousand tons (-12.4 thousand tons).
