Over the past period, from June 22 to 28, prices for frozen fish in the wholesale segment of the domestic market mainly continued to decline.

In the Far East region, the trend towards a decline in pollock prices (82 rubles per kilogram, (US$ 1.17 /-1.2%) continued, under the influence of the unfavorable world market conditions. Fluctuations in sockeye salmon prices for fresh catch are noted. Prices for other types of frozen fish have not changed: cod 155 rubles / kg (US$ 2.21), pollock 86 rubles / kg (US$ 1,23), herring 57 rubles / kg (US$ 0.81), flounder 65 rubles / kg (US$ 1.85).

In the North-West, an increasing supply volume from the fishery and a high level of unrealized balances against the background of unstable external and domestic demand provide a steady downward price trend for cod (210 rubles / kg, (US$ 3.00 / -4.5%), haddock (130 rubles / kg, ( US$ 1.85 /-3.7%) and mackerel (135 rubles / kg, (US$ 1.93 / -0.7%). Prices for other types of frozen fish were stable or declining.

In the Central regions, the continuing positive dynamics of stocks and an increase in supply from the catch regions contribute to cheaper pollock (100 rubles / kg, (US$ 1.43 / -2.9%) and herring (69 rubles / kg, (US$ 0.98 / -1.4%). Prices for other types of frozen fish remained stable.

Retail prices are also declining. Between June 16 and 22, the average consumer price level for unrefined frozen fish decreased by 0.2%. Compared to the beginning of the year, prices remain 0.2% higher.
