The Russian Fishery Company (RFC) on Friday put into operation the Russian Pollock fish processing complex in the Nadezhdinskaya priority development area (TOP) in the Primorsky Territory, Vesti: Primorye reports with reference to Interfax.

The first contract for the supply of the new enterprise's products to the Samberi Far East retail network was signed on the day of the start of industrial production.
The plant was built as part of the implementation of the state program of investment quotas, the main raw material is pollock harvested by RFC vessels.

The plant's capacities are designed to produce up to 155 tons of finished products per day, mainly frozen pollock fillets and piece frozen, as well as minced meat briquettes, steaks and others. At least 20 tons of fish oil and flour per day will be produced from the waste of the main production.
There is also the possibility of processing other types of white fish, in addition to pollock.
Innovative fish processing equipment is used in production, in connection with which "Russian pollock" plans to conduct personnel training on the basis of local educational institutions - Dalrybvtuz and Vladivostok Marine Fisheries College, as well as invite foreign specialists for training.
The project has generated 130-150 jobs and up to 350 jobs when the plant starts working in two shifts by the end of this year.
