The grocery chain tempts shoppers with competitive prices, an extensive variety of items, and by focusing on customer service. To foster customer loyalty, Alfa-Beta offers the AB Visa credit card that rewards customers for each purchase they charge. Alfa-Beta is a subsidiary of Belgium's Delhaize Group. Delhaize bought about a dozen stores in Greece in 2009 and added them to Alfa-Beta's network.
