Salmon (Salmo salar)
Prices
During week 46, the average price of fresh salmon (Salmo Salar) was NOK 58.63 (EUR 5.83/kg). This figure is up 8% on that of the previous week and up 5% on that of the same week in 2018. Compared with the same week in 2017, it was up 9% in value according to Norwegian Statistics.

The average price of frozen salmon exports was NOK 55.34 (EUR 5.50 / kg), price 6% lower than the previous week and 2% lower than the same week of 2018, growing 4% in relation to to 2017.

Markets
Exports of fresh salmon during the week reported 20,563 tonnes. Esta cifra es 6% superior a la de la semana anterior y a la de la misma semana de 2018, creciendo 5% con relación a la de la misma semana del 2017. So far this year, exports of salmon registered 825,169 tonnes, up 5% on that of the same period in 2018 and 13% on that of 2017.

Exports of frozen products during the week reported 548 tonnes. This figure is up 43% on that of the previous week and up 20% on that of the same week in 2018; it was down 1% on that of the same week in 2017. During the year, exports of frozen salmon registered 18,076 tonnes, up 11% on that of the same period in the previous year and down 5% on that of the same period in 2017.
