Price

The average CIF price of fillets –basa and panga- imported in February was USD 4,988/t, up 1% on that of January and up 27% on that of February 2017. In the first two months, the average was USD 4,966/t, up 29% on that of the same period last year.

Market

In February, incoming volumes of frozen fillets of basa and panga reported 6,511 tonnes, worth CIF USD 32,475,000, down 30% in volume and 29% in value on those imported in the previous month and up 17% in volume and 49% in value on those of February 2018.

In the first two months of the year, they totalled 15,772 tons for USD 78,325,000, 26% higher volume and 62% higher value than in the previous year.
