Latin American & Caribean Chapter and the World Aquaculture Society (WAS-LACC) represents all the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, and currently has 260 members. Directly related to the promotion and development of aquaculture in this continent, has as main objectives: assemble, expand and disseminate this activity in research institutions, universities and private companies. The LACC recognizes the importance and need for aquaculture development in a harmonious and integrated with the environment, to generate social benefits for all strata of the population.
