NaturalShrimp’s production facilities will be the aquaculture industry’s truly eco-friendly, sustainable way of cultivating shrimp.

NaturalShrimp, Inc.: La Coste, Texas Construction Update

  (UNITED STATES, 7/28/2020)

NaturalShrimp, Inc. (OTCQB: SHMP), the aquaculture company that has developed and patented the first commercially-operational RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture System) for shrimp, provides the following construction update:

The foundation work is nearing completion in preparation for the assembly of the 40,000 square foot shrimp production building. When completed, it will contain twenty 2,000-gallon nursery tanks, forty 20,000-gallon growout tanks, two 10,000-gallon settling tanks, and one 20,000-gallon harvest tank for a total tank volume capacity of 880,000 gallons.

NaturalShrimp has spent many years developing and commercializing a technology that will reliably produce a weekly crop of premium quality shrimp using a high degree of automation within an indoor environment.

The building will include an isolated visitor reception conference room to hold high level discussions with potential partnering groups. Employees will gain access to the building through a separate security/biosecurity entrance. The building will also house a water quality laboratory, aeration, heating, and feeding rooms, restrooms/showers, and some office/storage space. The harvest area will support the capturing and packaging of the harvested shrimp.

The harvest tank is in place and the Company has the two settling tanks and two of the growout tanks on site ready for assembly and installation and has placed orders for the other 38 growout tanks along with the tank heating system.

NaturalShrimp is a global shrimp farming company that has developed a technology to produce fresh, gourmet-grade shrimp reliably and economically in an indoor, recirculating, saltwater facility.

In parallel, the Company has continued its conversion of the existing 8,000 square foot greenhouse into a water treatment plant that will house the patented electrocoagulation (EC) filtration system. The internal renovation is nearing completion to make it ready for receiving the filtration system components. The Company is replacing the outer plastic greenhouse covering with metal sheeting to provide the security needed for protection of the contents. It will have its own security/biosecurity entrance with very limited access.

NaturalShrimp will continue providing construction updates through regular press releases.
