Akindo Sushiro Co., Ltd. (Head office: Suita City, Osaka Prefecture; CEO: Arai Kohei) will be holding the "Otoro Bluefin Tuna Festival" at Sushiro restaurants nationwide from Wednesday, October 2nd, to kick off the 41st year since the company first opened its conveyor belt sushi restaurant. New standard menu items will also be available from the same day.
Conveyor belt sushi restaurant Sushiro was born from Taisushi, a sushi restaurant in Abeno-ku, Osaka. Since then, for over 40 years, we have maintained the utmost attention to detail in everything from the sushi toppings and rice to the price and experience at our restaurants. We will continue to take our beloved sushi seriously and work diligently, honestly, and sincerely to deliver delicious sushi to our customers.
Starting its 41st year in October, Sushiro will be serving delicious sushi at amazing prices. Starting on Wednesday, October 2nd, the restaurant will be holding a "Hontoro Tuna Festival" where they will be offering "hontoro," also known as the king of tuna, starting at 110 yen including tax. "Hontoro Tuna" is extremely fatty, and you can enjoy the rich, deep flavor of the fat that melts in your mouth. Our discerning buyers have been creative in their purchasing, making it possible to offer it at this price. In addition, "Scallops piled high," which uses five scallops and is topped with salmon roe, "Extra large cut eel," which is cut into bite-sized pieces by repeatedly marinating and grilling the eel in sauce to concentrate the flavor, making the meat plump and juicy, and the autumn flavor of Hokkaido's moderately fatty "Sanma" will also be available for a limited time.
Other new standard menu items will also be available from the same day. For sushi, hand rolls using first-class nori seaweed from the Ariake Sea will be available. First-class nori seaweed is characterized by its excellent taste, color, and aroma. We are particular about the toppings that go with the tuna, with an exquisite balance of fat and lean meat, and you can enjoy the natural Indian tuna medium fatty tuna, which is characterized by its sweet fat, and the negitoro, which spreads its sweet fat and sticky texture in your mouth. For the side menu, we will be introducing the "Mountain and Sea Blessings Tempura Platter (Shrimp Tempura)" for the first time. The platter includes sweet potato, shiso leaves, shrimp, and red sea bream. The red sea bream is "live-killed red sea bream," which is also used as a sushi topping, and is topped with rock nori seaweed, which adds a nice accent to the aroma of the seaweed. Please enjoy the piping hot tempura platter, which is fried in the store after the order is placed.
Enjoy your meal at Sushiro, where new staple items are available, including the limited-time "Otoro Bluefin Tuna."
